Ruth Urban holds a Masters
Degree and has many years of senior management experience in
both the public and private sectors. She has been a community
leader in Southern Nevada for more than twenty years. An active
member of the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce and National
Association of Women Business Owners, Ruth is a graduate of the
Leadership Las Vegas program and a recipient of the Chamber's
September 2003 Circle of Excellence Award. She also received the
Distinguished Leadership Award sponsored by the Community
Leadership Association. She currently sits on the Chamber's
Business Council. Ruth also belongs to the International
Association for Public Participation and the International
Association of Facilitators. Because she believes in giving back
to her community, Ruth has been a founding member of, and served
on, many local non-profit boards and professional organizations.
Ruth obtained the Certified Professional Facilitator designation
in 2004 from the International Association of Facilitators and
is the first one in Nevada to hold this prestigious designation.
Her many years of experience in conflict resolution and
management are an asset in facilitating in-depth and meaningful
group discussions, strategic planning and organizational
development.

Institute. With an outstanding team, including Ruth Urban,
